Job Overview - Commercial Manager - Telecoms - Remote/Hybrid 


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial operations, ensuring that all activities align with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a strong focus on cost control and the ability to develop effective strategies that enhance profitability while maintaining high standards of service. Must have a Telecoms background.

Duties

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies in line with company objectives. 
  • Monitor and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. 
  • Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring effective cost control measures are in place. 
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and communication. 
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers to secure favourable terms. 
  • Prepare reports on commercial performance, highlighting areas for improvement and success. 
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or similar role within the Telecoms industry. 
  • Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. 
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management. 
  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in business management or a related field is preferred.
