As a Commercial Consultant, you will focus on commercial strategy and assurance, risk reporting, and management. This role offers leadership opportunities and the chance to work on critical procurements and contracts that protect and serve the community.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Analyse and report on commercial risk for third-party arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant contracts.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, driving value for money and risk management excellence.
- Support audit activities and undertake governance and assurance activities to highlight areas of risk or recommend changes.
- Communicate changes in regulations and best practices and their impact on operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a complex environment with knowledge of risk management, corporate governance, and internal controls.
- Proficient in end-to-end commercial lifecycle management and governance.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, able to influence decision-making and support service delivery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Desirable Criteria:
- CIPS qualification / IACCM certification (or working towards).
- Experience in supply network risk management.
