- Implement project commercial start-up procedures effectively.
- Manage and oversee a regional commercial team.
- Procure materials and off-site services efficiently in line with procurement policies, maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare work package contents, ensuring project team contributions are completed.
- Coordinate tender processes, including inclusive invitations, evaluations, and recommendations, adhering to procurement protocols.
- Collaborate with supply chains to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and learning.
- Maximise cash flow through timely valuations, invoice submissions, and payment receipts.
- Manage final account settlements, variations, claims, and disputes.
- Develop negotiation strategies for client agreements.
- Review and optimize plant and equipment schedules for efficiency.
- Deliver accurate CVR reports, forecasts, and set financial targets.
- Identify project risks and opportunities early, ensuring effective management.
- Formal qualification in quantity surveying or commercial management.
- Proven experience in managing commercial activities across multiple infrastructure projects.
- Essential expertise in NEC contracts.
- Chartered or working towards chartership is advantageous.
