Role: Commercial ManagerLocation: West LondonPackage: £70,000 to £95,000 + travel allowance, private pension, private healthcare, 25 days leave + bank holidays + hybrid workingWe are working with one of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors and supporting them with their search for an accomplished Commercial Manager to join their busy Logistics Team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring sound commercial performance across the project and will involve managing contracts and working closely with a multiple teams across the project.Based from their modern site offers in West London, you will lead the commercial & contractual functions for critical logistics packages on numerous sites. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • The efficient management of notices, correspondence and change control processes
  • Preparing and negotiation of payment applications, claims and cost forecasts
  • Managing the procurement process and supply chain contracts ensuring maximum value for money
  • Collaborating with internal and stakeholders to deliver the project objectives

The successful Commercial Manager will need to be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • A minimum of 10 years of post-graduate commercial experience in the UK on either construction or infrastructure projects
  • A sound understanding of the NEC suite of contracts
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent negotiation, team leadership and analytical skills
