The Commercial Partnerships Manager Role:
The role of Commercial Partnerships Manager will form part of the Senior Management team reporting directly to the CEO. They will focus on building pro-active commercial partnerships across our client base.
Specific Duties include
- Take responsibility for all aspects of commercial sales and service delivery
- Identify and deliver innovative opportunities for revenue growth
- Take the lead in ideas and initiatives that drive proposition growth and development
- Liaise with all Divisions across the business ensuring sales growth that also exceeds clients’ expectations
- Demonstrate a passion for the destinations we serve in all interactions (with clients and suppliers)
- Lead a highly focussed team of direct reports (1xUK, 1xSA)
- Data analysis & re-structuring reporting
The Commercial Partnerships Manager Person Requirements:
This person will be great at 'joining the dots’, driving understanding and solutions to develop our business. We are a small team, so often need to turn our hands to new or unexpected tasks. Our people enjoy this element of pulling together, problem solving and delivering company success.
- Experience of the travel industry (understanding of tour operating B2C and or B2B)
- Ability to interpret product and sales / identity and motivate opportunity
- Commercial acumen - negotiation, persuasion
- Can spot commercial opportunities and bring entrepreneurial flair
- Strong business development ability
- Capable of shaping a new role in a high trust environment
- Strong presentation skills (Internally & Externally)
