Fantastic opportunity for a junior sales executive to get their foot in the door into the exciting world of b2b events!

Our client is looking to hire a junior sales executive to join a fast growing team selling exhibition and sponsorship opportunities across a leading food & hospitality event.

The successful candidate will ideally have some b2b sales experience under their belt or at least have the drive and hunger to create new business opportunities.

You will be working with a number of existing clients but there will be a key emphasis to bring in new business too.

What you’ll do:

  • Source and identify new companies that could be a fit for the exhibition, selling exhibition and sponsorship solutions to clients.
  • Engage new companies by telephone and face to face to assess whether they are a good fit.
  • Network with existing and prospective clients at events
  • Pitch to senior level decision makers

What we’re looking for:

  • Ideally degree educated
  • Ideally some phone based sales experience - 6 months
  • Hard working and committed with an excellent phone work ethic
  • Pro-active, persuasive & confident
  • Sales driven
  • An ability to understand client’s needs and adopt a tailored approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
