I am currently recruiting for a Director of Marketing & Business Development on behalf of a international law firm. This is a 12-month maternity cover position based in London, with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Marketing & Business Development team to support the firm's strategy and plans.
- Develop and execute marketing and business development activity plans aligned with the firm's vision and values.
- Manage client and referrer firm development efforts, including relationship management and reporting.
- Oversee marketing and BD support for pitches and proposals, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Lead the firm's integrated communications strategy, including digital marketing and social media.
- Manage the firm's CRM system and client listening programmes.
- Coordinate press and PR activities, including crisis PR.
- Represent Marketing & BD at partner level meetings and provide expert advice.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in building and leading a Marketing & BD function.
- Strong team management and development skills.
- Broad experience in marketing and business development programmes, ideally in professional services.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple competing demands.
- Strong interpersonal skills and credibility at partnership level.
