A leading Facilities Management business with a turnover of 70 million is seeking a highly skilled FM Commercial Manager to oversee and manage some of the most prestigious contracts across high-end residential, hotels & leisure, heritage, and commercial office maintenance sectors. This company has a well-established reputation in the facilities market and is experiencing rapid growth, making this an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join at a pivotal stage in their expansion.

With a commitment to delivering excellence in facilities management, the company is a key player in the market, renowned for maintaining some of the most exclusive properties and working with high-profile clients. They are now looking for a talented Commercial Manager to manage several high-value contracts that require a keen eye for detail, exceptional financial oversight, and strong client relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial and commercial aspects of prestigious contracts across high-end residential, hotel, leisure, heritage, and commercial office maintenance sectors.
  • Be responsible for overseeing cost control, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring projects are completed profitably and within set timeframes.
  • Lead commercial reporting, including preparing and submitting contractual notices, interim applications, and final accounts.
  • Oversee monthly valuations, cash flow preparation, cost analysis, and financial management to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring consistent communication and successful negotiation of terms.
  • Prepare material and subcontractor procurement plans, managing the valuation of works and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend monthly commercial meetings to provide updates on contract-specific negotiations and overall project performance.
  • Lead a commercial team, ensuring their alignment with company goals and successful delivery of projects.
  • Ensure project compliance with all contractual, commercial, and legal requirements, safeguarding company interests and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the facilities management, construction, or M&E sectors.
  • Expertise in managing high-value contracts, with a background in high-end residential, hotel, leisure, heritage, and commercial office maintenance projects.
  • Exceptional financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and final accounts management.
  • Strong client-facing skills with experience in negotiating contracts and managing client relationships.
  • Ability to lead and manage a commercial team to ensure the successful financial delivery of projects.
  • Experience in preparing cash flows, cost reports, and analysis of project budgets, along with securing and managing contracts from conception to handover.
  • A track record of delivering projects upwards of 10 million in value, with hands-on experience managing prestigious contracts.

Remuneration Package:

  • Competitive salary of 100,000 - 110,000 (dependent on experience).
