Lorien are currently working with an exciting brand as they go through a period of growth after being acquired by a larger group of companies earlier this year. The organisation specialise in a secure workforce collaboration platform that enables organisations to collaborate with each other at varied scales and securely. They currently work with a number of public sector organisations and were instrumental in proving the NHS with their platform during the COVID Pandemic.

As part of the growth plans, they are looking to bring in a Head of Business Development which will be a crucial leadership role that will be responsible to drive the companies growth strategy in their current market sectors as well as exploring new markets. You will leverage industry insights and networking at industry events.

The Head of Business Development role will entail:

  • In depth market research
  • Oversee proposal development
  • Monitor performance metrics
  • Mentor and develop the Business Development Team
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement & high performance
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Drive revenue and ensure the business are remaining competitive

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a Business Development/Sales role
  • CRM Experience with Salesforce/Hubspot
  • Experience of selling into public sector, especially defence, healthcare or government sectors
  • Demonstrated experience of building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Experience of creating and delivering captivating proposals and presentations to potential clients

The role is fully remote with expectation to meet with national prospects and clients across the UK.

Salary is up to £85k with an OTE of over £100k+
