They are seeking a strategic and results-driven individual to lead their growth initiatives across the firm.

  • Salary - Up to £100k + Attractive Bonus & Benefits
  • Hybrid working - 2 days office, 3 remotely - Hours 9.30-5.30 basis

The Head of Business Development will report into the Practice Director and manage a small team covering London & Europe. This role is responsible for driving revenue generation, expanding market reach, and enhancing brand awareness through innovative marketing and business development strategies. This opportunity would suit an existing Senior level Business Development Manager looking for a step up and to organically develop and grow the BD & Marketing functions for the firm.

Head of Business Development & Marketing Responsibilities;

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive revenue growth both organically and inorganically
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners
  • Work with individuals to develop personal business development and marketing plans and strategies and ensure delivery
  • Oversee the development and preparation for pitches, client responses and directories
  • Support strategic and logistical aspects of lateral integration processes for fee earners
  • Support the management and client transition programmes for exiting fee earners
  • Provide one to one business development coaching and conduct relevant business development training
  • Oversee the development of marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business development and marketing
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of business development and marketing efforts
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Head of Business Development & Marketing Requirements;

  • Legal industry specialist Senior Business Development Management experience, preferable with international focus
  • Strong commercial mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of delivering business growth
  • Possess stellar academics, MBA and / or marketing qualifications preferred
  • Experience in digital marketing, branding, and content marketing
  • Proficiency in CRM, marketing automation, and data analytics tools
