Head of Marketing & Business Development - London (Hybrid)
A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing & Business Development to lead its London based team. This senior level role will oversee a team of five professionals, driving strategy, media relations, and business development initiatives in alignment with global goals. The position offers a hybrid working model, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the London Marketing & BD team, providing strategic guidance and performance oversight
- Collaborate with partners and leadership to develop and execute marketing, BD, and communication plans
- Manage media relations, content, and brand messaging across digital and traditional platforms
- Support pitches, proposals, legal directory submissions, and thought leadership content
- Monitor and report on budget and ROI, ensuring efficient spend and impact
- Drive internal communications and develop internal content tools (e.g., intranet)
- Partner closely with global teams to ensure consistency and collaboration across regions
Requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience in professional services, preferably legal, with strong leadership skills
- Proven expertise in marketing, business development, and communications strategy
- Experience managing teams, PR agencies, and budgets
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach
- Proficiency in CRM, marketing platforms, social media, and analytics tools
