Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth
- Identify market trends and customer needs in order to inform strategic decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets
- Build a sales function and recruit and train new team members to join the team
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and professional development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, rating agents and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and alliances that enhance service offerings
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its services
- Analyse sales data and metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to senior management
- Work closely with internal Departments to achieve maximum revenue and develop targeted campaigns and ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
Profile
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven individual to lead the sales team and drive growth in Historic Audit service offerings. In an ideal world, naturally our client would love that you will have a deep understanding of the business rates landscape, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Please note though that it is not essential that you come with Business Rates / Audit experience. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional relationship management, and the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the audit, finance, software, or consulting sectors ideally
- Strong understanding of business rates and audit processes, with a history of successful sales performance - again, ideally but not essentially
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and translate insights into actionable plans
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
Job Offer
Our client is looking to pay north of £70k Base Salary through to c.£95k dependant on experience.
Our client offers a hybrid working environment (Liverpool Street office for when in the office) and all details relating to bonus / OTE will be discussed at interview.
