Business Development/Key Account Manager - German Speaking

Our client, an FMCG brand who is rapidly expanding across Europe, they are looking for an experienced Business Development/Key Account Manager to join their growing team. Working within a highly talented Sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth across designated markets, building strategic relationships, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.
The ideal candidate is fluent in German, has an in-depth knowledge of FMCG markets in Germany and/or Poland with a passion for the food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Conduct in-depth market analyses to identify growth opportunities, consumer trends, and competitor activities.
- Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals focused on these markets.
- Drive performance for the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Develop sales targets and oversee the execution of sales strategies to achieve growth objectives.
- Regularly report on market conditions, team performance, and sales results to senior management.
Requirements:
- Fluent in German is required
- Experience in team leadership, with a track record of developing and managing a successful sales team.
- Strong understanding of FMCG landscape and business development or sales within Europe, ideally DACH & Poland markets, with a strong network of contacts in these regions.
- Prepared to work flexible hours and ok with travel when needed.
- University degree level or equivalent, Business or Marketing related degree is preferred.
