Your new companyMy client, a leading international bank in the heart of London, is looking for a Relationship Manager to join the Corporate Banking department sitting within the front line of defence. This international bank has an established London presence for over 50 years. You will be joining a close-knit and supportive department and will work closely with other departments.Your new roleMy client is looking for an ambitious and skilled Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking) who has experience within the UK market maintaining and expanding corporate clients. The role will focus on a portfolio of large corporate clients across all sectors. Specific day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the business in alignment with organisational targets.
  • Identify marketing opportunities, conduct analysis, prepare proposals, and assist with presentations and pitches for new products and services.
  • Provide general support to Relationship Managers in servicing client relationships and enhancing income generation.
  • Prepare briefing notes for Relationship Managers ahead of key client meetings.
  • It serves as the primary point of contact for clients and internal colleagues, managing the desk in the absence of Relationship Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures, including collaborating with the CDD Team for client onboarding and off-boarding.
  • Gain working knowledge of the organisation's systems, including CIMS and GCMS.
  • Undertake all required activities as directed by the Line Manager or as agreed in annual objectives to support the achievement of business goals

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in Banking / Financial Services Institutions - within the Front Office, Client Management, Credit Teams is preferable.
  • Ambitious and driven candidates who want to develop and refine their relationship manager knowledge and develop their own portfolio.
