Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside an exciting, fast growth independent record label with a presence both in the UK and abroad, in the search for their next Royalties Director.

The Business:

Growing from strength to strength since inception, this culture led business are industry leading in the commitment to their clients. Due to the success of the business, there is now a fantastic client list of some of the leading figures in the music industry, including world renowned bands, solo artists and international DJs. Having seen year on year revenue growth of 15% since 2018, and headcount doubling in the same time, this is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a fast growth business with high ambitions for the next 5 years.

You will be joining a team of hardworking and ambitious individuals looking to help the business remain at the forefront of the industry and continue to scale.

The Role:

Reporting into the company's CFO and CEO, you will be responsible for leading a team of royalty assistants, who hold responsibility for the royalty administration tasks. This team will continue to grow in line with the business, so is a great opportunity to have an influence in building out the team.

This role, which offers hybrid working, offers a fantastic opportunity to work at a fantastic, high growth company immersed in music culture, with opportunities to grow with the company as it continues to scale out. Due to the values led approach of mentorship and development throughout the business, this is a great opportunity for a for senior Royalties professionals looking for the next step, or someone in a similar level role that wishes to gain exceptional exposure working alongside the companies SLT.

The Duties:

  • Managing song matching, registration & royalty accounts.
  • Manage royalty statement processing
  • Develop relationships with external stakeholders (DSPs, societies etc.)
  • Drive innovation from a process & systems perspective.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a growing team.
  • Ad-hoc revenue & analytic projects

What we need to see (essential):

  • Experience working with Royalties (Music preferably)
  • Past work in royalties and distribution
  • Excellent communication skills

What we need to see (beneficial):

  • Previous experience managing a team.

Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 + great benefits package.
