HM1408 – Business Development Representative
Covering Southeast, Southwest, and South regions
Basic salary £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience plus annual bonus, company car, laptop, mobile, expenses, pension, 33 days holidays
My client, an industrial cable provider, who are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Representative to join their dynamic sales team.
As Business Development Representative you will ideally have a background in B2B Electrical/Technical Sales within Electrical Wholesalers or Buying Groups.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, written and spoken, face to face and confident maintaining relationships with existing customers whilst also developing new business opportunities.
Candidate Skills
• Previous sales experience, ideally in a B2B Electrical environment
• Effective communication skills, confident and highly personable, with a genuine passion for customer service and sales.
• A strong team player, self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own time.
• A flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
Duties
• Ability to manage your own appointments and daily schedule effectively to optimise time and coverage
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned regions
• Regularly visit customers to provide support, gather feedback, and drive sales
• Meet weekly sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
• Attend office meetings to engage with internal teams and ensure smooth collaboration.
