The role based in NW London is for a full-time Sales Consultant to join a very busy removals sales department.

They are looking for a dynamic individual who is a competent sales professional with an elevated level of emotional intelligence, capable of working with internal teams as well as performing against sales targets.

The main purpose of the role is to grow territory revenue within the brand image and deliver profitable revenue in line with margin expectation and targets.

In conjunction with the Group and National Sales Manager, you will be required to identify, establish, and develop a successful OBS process, method, and strategy to effectively service the group’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming enquiries from all channels (including but not limited to Live chat, Web, lead generation, telephone) commercially reviewing them and action appropriately.
  • Complete customer surveys via telephone, video call and self-survey information.
  • All enquiries/quotations to be recorded in the system.
  • Identification of customer buying criteria.
  • Price bounce to gauge customer reaction.
  • Accurate costings via costing form and table.
  • Determining margin through factors such as move date, insurance value, competition, and customer confidence in brand.
  • Insurance sales and uplifts.
  • Introduce affiliate revenue streams.
  • Prepare and submit quotation to customer.
  • Follow up all jobs to conclusion and maintain records in the system.
  • Work with the Operations team to establish appropriate service standards, and to proactively seek service improvements.

KPI’s:

  • Achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Sales productivity target.
  • Monthly revenue target.
  • 12 monthly sales reviews.
  • Quote submission within the required timescale.
  • Quote 70% of enquires received.

Skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Previous sales experience.
  • Good negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • PC literate.
  • Ability to understand both customer and competitive environment.
  • Good networking skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
