We have a super opportunity here for an experienced Commercial Insurance broking professional with 5 years plus commercial account handling experience to join the retail arm of a Lloyds Broker, with offices in Aldgate.
We were really impressed with what the Head of Broking here had to say about them as a business and the fantastic opportunity they can offer someone in this role and moving forward with them as a business. This is a critical hire for them, as you will be supporting the head of broking and the Director of the retail part of this broker, who deal with commercial lines risks for Sports, and work with a number of leading football and sports clubs across the UK. They also manage the insurance portfolio for a very high end restaurant chain too, which you will be responsible for looking after. As such you will handle new business, renewals and MTA's across their book of business.
They will offer truly unwavering support to help you thrive here, as in short they care about their people and want you to be a success and the best you can be. The plan will be to bring you on board, and once you have your feet under the table, they will look to bring in a junior member of staff to support you.
We would love to hear from you if you have strong commercial lines broking knowledge, particularly in areas such as MDBI, MLP, D&O Engineering and PI, as well as a working knowledge of Liability lines.
They offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays to start, plus pension.
In return, the salary on offer is £45-55k, depending on experience. They may be able to go higher for the right person too.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. and they offer hybrid working, with you needing to be in the London office at least 2 days a week.
