DESCRIPTION.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

  • Greet and engage customers during showroom visits, offering a welcoming and informative experience.
  • Gain in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate benefits and match options to customer needs.
  • Take a consultative approach, understanding customer preferences to provide personalised recommendations.
  • Maintain a well-organised, aesthetically pleasing showroom.
  • Guide customers through the purchase process, providing pricing info, handling paperwork, and closing sales.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through follow-ups and responsiveness after the sale.
  • Support the showroom manager in enhancing customer service strategies.
  • Stay updated on design trends and competitors to offer informed recommendations.

PROFILE

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Strong passion for interior design
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Knowledge of various styles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and meeting sales targets.
  • Basic computer skills for processing transactions and maintaining customer records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact confidently with colleagues / clients at all levels.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
