An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Trade Sales Consultant to join a prestigious luxury homewares brand based in London. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for interiors and exceptional communication skills, ready to provide outstanding service to trade clients.
As part of this award-winning business, you’ll work closely with interior designers, architects, and other trade clients, offering expert advice, product recommendations, and support with custom and made-to-order enquiries. What you’ll be doing:
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with trade clients, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
- Preparing and managing quotes, following up to secure sales and maximise opportunities.
- Accurately processing sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, and bespoke commissions with great attention to detail.
- Collaborating with the design team to manage custom projects, ensuring client requirements are met and delivered on time.
- Liaising with makers, workshops, and the procurement team to oversee the progress of live orders and communicate updates to clients.
- Contributing to client outreach, promoting new launches and strengthening engagement.
- Maintaining and updating the sales database to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
- Supporting monthly and quarterly sales targets and assisting with shop floor duties when required.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in trade sales, ideally within a luxury or high-end brand.
- Knowledge or experience in the furniture or interiors industry is highly desirable, particularly in working with interior designers.
- A confident and articulate communicator, with strong verbal and written English skills.
- Detail-oriented and organised, with excellent numeracy and IT skills. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- A proactive, team-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Warm, personable, and adaptable, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
