Fire Alarm Project Lead / Commissioning Engineer

Salary £45,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience + Van (business use, no Tax) or Estate Car (taxable).

Looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to take on a role commissioning high-end fire alarm systems such as Siemens, Gent. Notifier and Morley.

This role is to work on new systems installations projects across London. A wide range from small £5000 Projects to £1M+ Installations.

Most projects are in blocks of flats or similar large residential properties (student accommodation etc).

There is no on call requirement (only occasional W/E overtime if projects require due to deadlines).

You will be collaborating with the designs teams; to review system designs and ensure they comply with the relevant codes and regulations, as well as conducting site visits to inspect the installation of the systems and testing & commissioning them upon completion.

You will direct work, spot issues before they become problems, see variations / additionally billable work and act as an assistant PM / on-site lead.

This role will lead to a Project Management career.
