Our client is a reputable engineering company seeking an experienced commissioning engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of seven years' experience in commissioning BMS Systems.
The primary responsibility of this role will involve commissioning BMS systems for data centres across the UK and Europe. Therefore, candidates must be willing to travel as required. All travel expenses will be covered by the client.

Requirements for the role include:
- Experience in developing BMS Software and Graphics with one or more of the following systems: Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell Building BMS Systems / Trend Controls, Siemens Desigo, Ecostructure by Schneider Electric, or PLC platforms for mechanical control systems in buildings.
- Based in Europe
- Experience working in data centres
- Willingness to spend the majority of time outside the home, commissioning in Europe
- Background in BMS Mechanics system (preferably not PLC), those that come with a toolbox
- Previous experience in data centres
Responsibilities for the role:
Implement the project deliverables through the Commissioning activities portion to ensure a compliant success of the approved Design and Engineering works including:
- Coordinate closely with third parties (commissioning engineers, equipment vendors, other trades, project stakeholders) to ensure commissioning schedule in maintained and achieved
- Demonstrate full compliance to the Client's Advisors of completed Commissioning works in accordance with the Design & Engineering requirements, providing annotated screen shots for record purposes, along with checklists and deviation schedules to ASHRAE commissioning standards.
- Provide support and advice to other Commissioning Engineers in the team.
- Forecast Commissioning activities for a two-week look ahead and contribute expected resource levels.
- Contribute to all Health and Safety requirements of the project including Safe Start Meetings and Near Miss Reporting.
- Systems Points Lists (Hardwired and High-level), Controls, Graphics screens, alarms, and trend logs.
- Identify and rectify errors found during Commissioning activities.
- Report daily or weekly progress and encountered issues to the Project Manager.
