Senior Building Surveyor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Building Surveyor to join a dynamic team based in London. If you are passionate about delivering top-tier building surveyor services and keen to demonstrate your skills across housing, education, commercial, care and health industries, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key responsibilities of the Senior Building Surveyor role:

  • Lead building surveys and inspections across a variety of property types.
  • Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and schedules of work.
  • Provide expert advice on building defects, dilapidations, and maintenance strategies.
  • Manage and mentor junior surveyors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Oversee and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and relevant legislation.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • MRICS (or equivalent) qualification preferred.
  • Ideally, a degree in building surveying or similar.
  • Experience in building surveying or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading teams.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, defects, and repair strategies.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
