GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor to our client based in London. Our client are a charity responsible for caring for some of the most famous parks in the world and their associated assets.
The Senior Building Surveyor will seek to conserve, maintain and enhance the built environment within a parkland environment. They will be involved in cyclical maintenance, historic building conservation, maintenance of roads and bridges, as well as the maintenance of operation and residential buildings. This is an opportunity to get to work on a diverse range of projects, as well as lead a multiple-discipline team.

Main Duties of the Senior Building Surveyor:
* Manage a cyclical maintenance programme for a variety of assets ranging from public toilets to listed buildings
* Develop and implement conservation and maintenance plans
* Provide expert advice on building conservation issues
* Produce reports on asset specifications
* Monitor and manage budgets and prepare forecasts for future spend
* Manage a multidisciplinary team including Surveyors and Engineers

Role Requirements:
* Hold a professional Surveyor's qualification such as RICS
* Significant experience in building regulations, surveying and asset management
* Proven experience of leading a multi-disciplinary team
* Experience producing cyclical maintenance plans
* An understanding of planning and listed building practise
