My client are seeking a driven and established Public Affairs Account Director or Associate Director to join during this exciting period with a new Government in place. This role offers the opportunity to work on and grow integrated accounts across diverse public affairs sectors. A strong interest in politics and a solid understanding of public policy and campaigning are essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct and manage client accounts, ensuring their needs are met with excellence
  • Service client accounts and build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships
  • Lead new business opportunities and develop business leads
  • Organise events and party conference activities
  • Manage and mentor a growing team

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid experience working in a consultancy or public/private (in-house) sector
  • A broad base of sector experience, working on integrated accounts across media, stakeholder, digital, and change activities
  • Strong people management skills
  • Built and maintained strong political and stakeholder networks
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to adapt to different styles and a well-developed point of view
  • Proven ability to develop or direct new business leads and deliver successful pitches
