My client is looking for an Account Director AND an Associate Director to lead diverse client projects, develop strategic communications plans, and manage public affairs campaigns. Based in a lovely office with a great team of experienced consultants.

Our client is a well-established, medium-sized public affairs agency with a broad range of clients in energy, transport, education, FS, NFP, etc.
Description
- Lead and manage public affairs campaigns for a diverse range of clients.
- Develop strategic communications plans that align with client objectives.
- Provide advice on policy, political and stakeholder issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Represent clients in meetings with government officials and stakeholders.
- Provide expert knowledge on a broad range of sectors and relevant policy developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver client projects.
- Drive new business development efforts.
Profile
A successful Account Director should have:
- A creative approach to political comms, with a good track record in implementing communications strategies;
- The ability to manage complex and fast paced client programmes;
- A good working knowledge of politics and how the media works;
- Strong writing and presenting skills;
- Commercial awareness and a new business focus;
- Excellent political network
- Strong understanding of public affairs and experience devising and implementing creative campaigns which drive meaningful, measurable change in outcomes.
- Experience in a public affairs agency or very politically 'plugged in'.
