We are currently working on behalf of our trusted client who are looking for a Client Services Director (Manufacturing, Logistics, Utilities and Energy). Our client is an international consultancy which provides IT consulting and business process outsourcing services for industries including banking, health care, manufacturing, media, and entertainment!

What You Can Expect

  • Location - London (Hybrid 1-2 days in London office per week)
  • Salary - £100,000 - £125,000 plus £10,000 annual bonus
  • Work type - Permanent

Main Responsibilities as a Client Services Director (Manufacturing, Logistics, Utilities and Energy)

  • Client Management: Act as the primary contact for key clients, fostering and maintaining strong relationships. You should possess the confidence and expertise to provide guidance to clients independently in most scenarios, without requiring input from senior team members.
  • Media Relations: Demonstrate a keen instinct for identifying newsworthy angles, even within complex or dense material, and craft compelling messaging aligned with client goals. Build and sustain strong relationships with key journalists.
  • Strategic Planning and Campaign Oversight: Take the lead in developing and executing impactful PR and communication strategies and campaigns that align with client objectives.
  • Writing: Exhibit strong writing skills, producing high-quality content across various formats. Create engaging copy—both short- and long-form—and deliver or edit content under tight deadlines when needed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Inspire and mentor team members with strong leadership abilities.
  • Accountability: Ensure the delivery of high-quality communications that meet client expectations. Maintain excellent attention to detail and effectively manage your own and your team’s time.
  • Commercial Acumen: Maintain a clear understanding of account profitability, ensuring project work aligns with agreed scopes. Identify and pursue opportunities for growth with both new and existing clients.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Proven experience in leading teams to execute effective PR campaigns.
  • Skilled in strategic communications, capable of offering well-informed advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring teams deliver high-quality results, often within tight deadlines.
  • Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of profitability in an agency setting and a strong focus on growth.
  • Extensive knowledge of ESG and responsible finance, coupled with a genuine passion for sustainability.
