This is a great External Communications Manager permanent role paying up to £40K plus excellent benefits based in London 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate innovative and engaging ways to reach out to your audience. Working with the campaigns, channels and content creation teams to ensure the consistent delivery of good external communications.
  • Partner with Communications and Engagement colleagues to deliver aligned and consistent communications, across internal, external, stakeholders and division building relationships and insight into the organisation.
  • Be the communications lead for diversity and inclusion, helping to build a truly diverse workforce and an inclusive culture where our people feel valued and able to bring their whole selves to work.
  • Manage the departmental action plan ensuring it remains up to date.

Skills required

  • Strong B2B Comms background working with c-suite level and ideally been in a large organisation.
  • Strong on comms involving culture change, and build knowledge of your audience and use that to guide your communications outputs, anticipating and adapting to audience trends.
  • Strong external communications campaigns knowledge - planning, execution and measurement.
  • Politically aware and astute, demonstrates the ability to make decisions and give advice to stakeholders within the context of the whole organisation and the external environment.
  • Experience of using a multi-media approach to target and engage with different audiences.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills, helping people understand the value of internal communications / taking targeted and relevant approach.
