About the Business

As a rapidly growing business, they are looking for a Head of Marketing to take ownership of their marketing strategy and collaborate closely with the sales department and the Managing Director to elevate the companys brand, attract new clients, and enhance engagement within the contractor payroll market.


The Role
As the Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the companys marketing strategy. Working closely with the sales team and MD, youll develop and implement campaigns that increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth. You will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities and ensuring that the companys marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives, with a strong focus on the contractor payroll market.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, drive leads, and support the sales department in achieving business goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales department and MD to ensure alignment between marketing and sales objectives, identifying opportunities to boost lead generation and client acquisition.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and execution of brand campaigns, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Content Marketing: Lead the creation of relevant content (web, email, blogs, social media, etc.) to engage contractors and businesses in the contractor payroll market.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing channels including social media, SEO, PPC, and email campaigns to attract leads and improve online visibility.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the contractor payroll industry to ensure marketing efforts are targeted and effective.
  • Budget Management: Own the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximising return on investment.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data and insights to optimise strategies.
