Description

Devise and deliver an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior

leaders

Be a focal point for all communications for Group and Global communications Leads, ensuring all communication complies with business requirements and corporate/brand policies

Develop and delivers a communications strategy for People & Culture, supporting the business strategy

Develop and implement communication plans for internal communication to support increased employee engagement. This will include a focus on management engagement across the business units and specific emphasis on how we communicate with our frontline workforce

Develop and publish a range of internal communications such that employees understand our strategic priorities and how we are progressing against them and encourage two-way conversations with our leaders

Develop effective communication channels and content to communicate with employees, such as newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, social media and digital content and other communication materials

Source interesting stories and case studies from across the business for use across multiple channels

Proactively develop our network of Communications Champions and build a community of practice with communications colleagues embedded in our operating units

Work closely with HRD People & Culture to support the delivery of appropriate People moments that matter including employee reward and recognition.

Profile

Excellent written and visual display skills, copy writing and editing skills

* Demonstrable experience of using effective internal communication to support increased employee engagement

* Strong knowledge of use of internal social media channels

* Experience of media and marketing

* Experience of working with agencies and suppliers

* Experience of producing employee publications: managing design and content plan, writing and editing content, ensuring regular flow of content from contributors, meeting deadlines and coming up with creative ways to engage colleagues

* Strong experience of event management

* Adept at stakeholder relationship management up to C Suite with a collaborative approach

* Able to build strong working relationships and networks across a complex organisation to deliver results

* Is technically fully competent and independent. Develops and publishes communication materials under limited supervision and governance
