We are working on behalf of one of our very well known companies, who have a great opertunity in their work place. This is for a CNC operator, they would be looking for someone who is expereinced in handling glass, with a working knowledge of how use CNC/CAD orientated glass processing machines, either with on expereince on Intermac, Bottero, Bavolloni etc. CNC glass routering/polishing machines or again experience with vertical CNC glass drilling platforms such as Schmarl, Intermac, and Skill Glass etc glass processing machines.
This would mean day to day of being able to:
- Read and input draws from paperwork orders into CAD software
- Set up and operate daily CNC router/polishing machine to orders
- Be able to measure / calibrate tooling and setup on CNC machine and on tooling software
- Monitor and maintain quality control while processing
- Carry out daily and weekly maintenance
- Organise and update order system
The above covers all area's that you would need to be capable of if you have experience with CNC machinery and glass.
