We are seeking an experienced Mobility Equipment Field Service Engineer to join our client's team, focusing on the servicing, repair, and installation of a wide range of mobility products across the South East and London area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company and progress into a technical management role, with the potential to support sales integration for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine servicing and repairs on various stairlifts.
  • Install stairlifts and mobility equipment efficiently and safely at customer locations.
  • Provide a professional, customer-focused service during maintenance, repair, and installation visits.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults with stairlifts and related mobility products.
  • Participate in scheduled call-outs, including weekday and weekend shifts, with overtime available.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Receive training both internally and from manufacturers to stay up-to-date with the latest products and technologies.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in the mobility equipment industry, particularly with stairlifts and mobility aids.
  • Knowledge of stairlift brands such as Platinum, Handicare, Stannah, Thyssen, and Wessex is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including participation in the on-call rota.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
