Asset & Repairs Manager Vacancy, London Based, Permanent Role

Venn Group are currently recruiting for an Asset & Repairs Manager in the London area.

The job responsibilities will be to:

  • Managing a Senior Building Surveyor, Disrepair Coordinator and currently four repairs’ advisors to deliver an excellent repairs and maintenance service
  • Ensure that robust monitoring, reporting, and forecasting systems are in place, and contribute to the budget plan and compiling budget/KPI reports monthly, managing budgets for responsive repairs ensuring effective use of funds
  • Manage the performance of ISHA’s main Responsive Repairs Contracts and utilise performance information to set targets for continuous service improvement
  • Monitor the responsive repairs workflow, ensuring the repairs advisors follow works orders through to a cradle to grave approach and keeping residents updated on progress and raise any issues with the patch building surveyor or escalate as appropriate
  • Ensure contracts and contractors are managed within the organisation’s Health and Safety Policy and arrangements
  • Monitor compliance with CDM, Asbestos Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act and other safety legislation relevant to the scope of operations
