Our client, a leading contractor with extensive operations in the UK is looking for an experienced and organised Bid Coordinator to manage the end-to-end bid process of their projects. As a Bid Coordinator you will be coordinating with internal and external teams, preparing high-quality proposals, tenders, and pre-qualification questionnaires ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Work closely with senior management and technical experts across the business to analyse client requirements and ensure all proposals align with project specifications.

  • Identify opportunities through the bid or no-bid evaluation process and manage the preparation and submission of bids in compliance with internal procedures.

  • Gather necessary inputs for proposals and develop and maintain a structured bid plan.

  • Prepare and format bid documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client expectations.

  • Review and proofread proposals to ensure they are error-free, professionally presented, and meet client expectations.

  • Enhance information library by gathering project data and updating sector insights, as well as preparing and formatting high-quality bids with visually appealing graphics.

  • Manage clarifications, amendments, and negotiations during the post-submission phase.

  • Serve as the point of contact for all bid-related communication, ensuring clear and effective collaboration.

  • Degree/qualification in Level 6 Certificate, business/technical or equivalent.

  • 5+ years' experience as Bid Coordinator within construction.

  • Proficient in INDESIGN, Word, Outlook and Excel and other relevant software and tools essential to the role.

  • Strong understanding of the construction process, procurement routes, forms of contract and an eye for detail with commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.

  • Effective communication skills with strong organisational and time management abilities.
