Adecco are delighted to be partnering with a London Borough Council in their recruitment of an interim Construction Services Officer.

Post holder duties

  • Lead on monitoring of Payment Certificates and Invoice processing for all suppliers and to assist the relevant delivery officers in ensuring efficient payment/certificate processing.
  • Co-ordinate; update and monitor the Asset Planning & Capital Delivery Team's centralised data storage and Project trackers.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to the Asset Planning & Capital delivery Team.
  • Process NEC new orders and payment requests.
  • Maintain payment process trackers and procedure maps.
  • Assist with Contract administration including checking and uploading documents to COPS and to assist TST processing.
  • To actively participate and contribute to the development of NEC and the integration of new modules; processes and improvements into the service area as they develop.
  • To assist with general administration functions, including minute taking, room booking, meeting arrangements and documents circulations.

Key requirements

  • Very good / Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Very good / Advance MS Excel skills collating & inputting information into Excel and producing spreadsheets collation and summary of multiple data input.
  • Experience in using other MS 365 suite of applications (Word, etc.)
  • Very good administrative, organisation and co-ordination skills.
  • Very good updating and monitoring skills for centralising data storage and project trackers for the Asset Planning and Capital Delivery Service.
  • Experience of using housing related data bases.
  • Awareness and understanding of working in a Social Housing setting - Social Housing construction industry services setting is desirable.
  • Experience with dealing with members of the public.
