Electrical Supervisor needed for commercial project in London.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the installation and commissioning of commercial lighting systems on a high-profile project. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, a strong background in commercial lighting, and the leadership skills to manage and guide a team of electricians. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical activities related to the installation of commercial lighting systems.
- Lead a team of electricians, providing guidance, training, and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards.
- Review electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all electrical work follows industry standards and regulations.
- Manage project timelines and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Provide regular updates to the project manager regarding progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Assist in the commissioning and testing of lighting systems to ensure functionality.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
Qualifications:
- Gold ECS card
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- Valid Driving Lisence
- Inspecting and testing ticket
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with the installation and commissioning of commercial lighting systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be able to drive to different sites
