We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our client's team and play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a CAT A &B commercial project. As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to maintain a smooth workflow and avoid conflicts.
- Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
- Manage the installation of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Ensure that all installations are completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications and industry best practices.
- Monitor and control material usage and labour costs to optimize project profitability.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to identify and rectify any defects or non-conformities.
- Implement quality control measures to prevent issues and ensure that all work meets the required standards.
- Prepare and submit quality control documentation, including inspection reports and test certificates.
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled electrical installers and technicians.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to ensure that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Address performance issues and provide necessary training to improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and project managers.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide regular project updates.
- Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise on-site.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor on large-scale commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
