Electrical Supervisor
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for residential and commercial projects. The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installations, ensuring safety standards are met, and managing a team of electricians on site. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership and technical skills in the electrical field. Project is Commericial / Residential project, candidate must have at least 3 years as an electrical supervisor in these sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of electricians and subcontractors on residential and commercial projects.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with all relevant regulations and health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to maintain high-quality electrical work.
- Oversee the daily activities of the electrical team, ensuring efficient work practices and on-time completion.
- Report to senior management and provide updates on project progress, issues, and electrical installations.
- Act as the main point of contact for any electrical-related issues on site.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, including risk assessments and method statements, is up-to-date and in compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) Certification.
- ECS Gold Card (Electrical Certification Scheme).
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the residential or commercial sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations in electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and the project team.
- Previous experience working in the residential and commercial sectors is essential.
