Hours: 7.30am - 5.30pm
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced electrician with supervisory experince to join our team on a full time permanent basis. This role is ideal for individuals with on-site supervisory experience within the electricalindustry. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs across various sites, ensuring the work is completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Manage and lead a team of mechanical operatives, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Monitor and inspect work to ensure it meets both client and regulatory standards.
- Enforce site safety protocols and ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including job sheets, compliance documentation, and safety reports.
- Address any technical issues or challenges on-site in a timely manner to ensure project progression.
- Ensure the correct materials and resources are available for the team to complete the project.
- 1-2 years minimum of experience supervising temporary site services.
- Previous experience of being an AP
- Valid ECS gold
- SSSTS or SMSTS (advantageous)
- UK driving license
- Skills:
- Strong electrical knowledge and practical experience.
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-solving abilities to address any issues that arise during the project.
- A company van and fuel card will be provided for travel to and from sites, or a travel allowance can be arranged depending on the location of the sites.
- The role requires flexibility with travel and working hours, as you will be working across various sites.
