Excellent opportunity for an experienced Facade Manager to join a leading main contractor who has been operating at the forefront of the construction industry for over 65 years. This contractor delivers high quality projects across the residential, student accommodation, leisure, hotel, commercial, industrial and education sector with an annual turnover of circa 90million.
They are actively recruiting for a Facade Manager for a large scale residential scheme in West London. The build consists of an RC Frame structure and a rain screen cladding, brickwork facade.
Responsibilities of the role
- Manage the facade package on a large scale residential scheme.
- Manage the subcontractors and ensure Health & Safety regulations are complied with.
- Ensure the project runs to time and programme whilst maintaining Quality assurance
- Report progress to a Senior Project Manager
Requirements for the Facade manager
- Rain screen cladding and brickwork facade experience essential, ideally on residential construction projects
- Mast Climber experience is essential - this will be used instead of scaffolding due to the tight logistical space of the site
- Background in Civil Engineering desired
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- Successfully lead a facade package circa 10million whilst reporting into a Project Lead
