Daniel Owen are currently seeking a 'Graduate Building Surveyor' to join Our Client's bespoke Chartered Surveying and Property Management Firm in North London.

As a skilled and motivated Building Surveyor, you will be entrusted with delivering project work and professional services across an extensive range of residential and commercial properties.

Our client will eventually help you become chartered MRICS!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defects diagnosis and remedial work reporting;
  • Obtaining quotes/tenders for minor and major works;
  • Preparing specifications and tender documentation;
  • Tender analysis and reporting;
  • Monitoring contractor's works and client liaison;
  • Preparing contract documents and contract administration;
  • Project management;
  • Preparing schedules of dilapidations;
  • Preparing schedules of condition;
  • Preparing and agreeing Party Wall awards;
  • CDM;
  • Fire, Health & Safety Assessments;
  • Undertaking measured surveys and preparing CAD drawings

Requirements

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • 1/2 Years experience
  • Demonstrated experience in both residential and commercial sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and construction processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with surveying software and tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel as required
