We are a renowned M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Contractor specializing in delivering high-quality mechanical systems for both residential and commercial projects. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, we are expanding our team and looking for a dedicated Mechanical Construction Manager/Supervisor to join us in London.

Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Construction Manager/Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing mechanical construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the mechanical aspects of residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical tradesmen and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that work meets industry standards and project requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote a culture of safety on site.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing any concerns and providing updates on project progress.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in mechanical construction management or supervision, ideally within both residential and commercial sectors.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field. Certifications in health and safety (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS) are advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry regulations.
  • Availability: Immediate availability to start work.
