Job Title: Plumbing Supervisor (Social Housing)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to oversee plumbing maintenance, repair, and installation services within a social housing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation and play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality plumbing services for tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of plumbers and subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance works across social housing properties.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Coordinate daily job allocations, ensuring timely completion of repairs and installations.
Liaise with residents, housing officers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
Provide technical support and hands-on assistance where necessary.
Ensure all plumbing work complies with relevant building regulations and water supply legislation.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and workforce performance.
Assist with budget management, ordering materials, and maintaining stock levels.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications: NVQ in Plumbing or equivalent (desirable).
Experience: Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the social housing sector.
Strong technical knowledge of domestic plumbing systems, heating, and water supply.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good understanding of health & safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessments.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
