The Senior Asset and Repairs Manager oversees all aspects of the organisations Housing's property services, ensuring residents' homes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards.

The role involves managing teams, contracts, budgets, and major works while driving continuous improvement and delivering outstanding resident-focused services.

Description

As Senior Asset & Repairs Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage the Property Services team, ensuring effective performance and support.
  • Oversee procurement and management of property-related contracts, ensuring compliance and value for money.
  • Ensure resident homes meet health, safety, and Decent Homes standards, including compliance with all legislation.
  • Manage responsive repairs, planned works, and major improvement projects.
  • Oversee building safety, fire safety, and compliance with the Building Safety Act.
  • Maintain accurate property data and implement a data-driven investment programme.
  • Develop and manage asset management and repairs budgets, ensuring financial oversight.
  • Monitor and report KPIs to demonstrate service effectiveness and resident satisfaction.

Profile

The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong background in asset, repairs, and contract management. They will possess excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of property and health and safety legislation, and a proven ability to deliver results in a housing or similar environment. With a personable, coaching management style and strong organisational abilities, they will be driven to provide outstanding resident-focused services and achieve continuous improvement.
