The Senior Building Surveyor's Role
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to deliver professional and project services, with a primary focus on dilapidations. Working across sectors including education, commercial, residential, and hospitality, you will provide expert guidance to prestigious clients while driving business development and fostering client relationships.
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will also play a key role in mentoring APC-level surveyors, helping to nurture the next generation of talent within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality dilapidations and professional services to a range of clients.
- Managing and overseeing projects across various sectors, ensuring timely delivery.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members through their APC journey.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive business growth.
The Ideal Senior Building Surveyor will have
- MRICS qualified (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or related discipline.
- Proven consultancy experience, ideally with a focus on dilapidations.
- Commercially aware with excellent client-facing skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset.
