Ridgeway and co are proud to be partnering with a leading Tier One contractor in their search for a Senior QS located in Mayfair paying up to 100,000 PA.
- Oversee financial and legal matters throughout the course of construction projects.
- Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Manage and plan all costs involved in construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.
- Work closely with the project manager, advising on the financial implications of construction methods and strategies.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of construction regulations and contracts.
- Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour, and time.
- Negotiate and establish the costs of sub-contracts.
- Ensure accurate and timely final accounts preparation and manage payments to contractors.
Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
- Proven experience in the property industry, specifically in construction.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and other Quantity Surveying software.
- Strong contractual, financial, and project management skills.
