Description
- Manage all costings from initial calculations to the final figures.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure contracts are fulfilled to a high standard.
- Minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while achieving the required standards and quality.
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Perform risk, value management and cost control exercises.
- Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work.
- Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.
Profile
A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:
- An accredited degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in cost-analysis software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in managing commercial aspects of construction projects.
- An aptitude for numbers and problem-solving.
