Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, detail orientated Site Manager to join a high-performing team on a contract basis (minimum 12 months), in Greenwich.

Job Overview

You'll need to start ASAP, focusing on the internals through the finals on a Residential project of up to 300+ units. Maintain a clear focus on cost control, ensuring that all internal works (including drylining, joinery, MEP installations, and finishes) are delivered efficiently. Our client ideally wants someone with longevity on their CV.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead the on-site execution of internal packages, ensuring all activities align with project specifications and schedules.
Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate site staff, subcontractors orders, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.
Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular site inspections.
Quality Control: Monitor construction progress, ensuring work meets technical requirements and high-quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively.
Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability and resource efficiency.
Problem-Solving: Anticipate and address on-site challenges, minimising disruptions and delays.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager for a volume developer with residential projects focusing on internal fit out through to finishing
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the sector.
Demonstrable experience managing teams and subcontractors
SMSTS & CSCS card, NVQ level 6
Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with project management tools and software is advantageous.
