About the Role:

Our client, a leading player in the high-end fit-out and construction sector, is seeking a Site Manager for their Bars & Restaurants account. The role is ideal for individuals with significant experience in the construction industry, particularly those with a background in joinery and fit-out works.

The Site Manager will oversee projects ranging from £2 million to £25 million in value. These projects are primarily located in the city centre of London, with some national assignments.

The position involves managing all aspects of site construction, ensuring smooth operation, and client satisfaction from start to finish. You will be client-facing, as the clientele is particular and requires professional, detailed management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of multiple high-end construction projects, with a primary focus on bars and restaurants.

Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, including joinery, fit-out, and other construction disciplines.

Ensure that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget.

Liaise directly with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain a strong focus on quality control and resolving any issues that may arise on site.

Manage project documentation, reports, and communicate progress to internal teams and the client.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the construction program and contractual obligations.

Be adaptable to varying project sizes and scopes, with an emphasis on high-quality client-facing work.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience: Previous experience working as a Site Manager on high-end fit-out projects, particularly in the hospitality sector (bars and restaurants). Experience with larger projects (£2 million - £25 million) is highly beneficial.

Fit-Out Background: A strong background in joinery or related construction fields is preferred.

Location: Experience working in London is highly preferred, with an understanding of the challenges and logistics of city centre construction.

Client-Facing: Able to engage with high-end clients in a professional and consultative manner, addressing their specific needs and concerns.

Project Experience: Previous experience managing multiple projects concurrently, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work on projects across the UK when required, including occasional stays away from home.

Mid to Senior-Level Experience: The role is open to both mid-level Site Managers who can confidently manage projects with some guidance, as well as senior Site Managers who have extensive experience in high-value projects.
