Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and oversee projects primarily in the Southeast. The first project will be a £3 million leisure facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in fit-out and refurbishment projects within sectors such as leisure, healthcare, leisure centres, and retail.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and project expectations are met.

Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies.

Coordinate site activities, including groundworks, fit-out, and refurbishment.

Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular progress meetings.

Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide hands-on management, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Report to senior management with project updates and key performance indicators.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Trade background in joinery with strong fit-out and refurbishment experience.

Experience working on projects in the leisure sector.

Ideally has worked on city centre projects as well as larger developments.

Client-facing experience and ability to manage relationships with end users.

Experience managing projects ranging from £500k to £4 million in value, with durations between 8 to 25 weeks.

Strong understanding of groundworks, refurbishment, and fit-out processes.

Mid-level experience Site Manager.

Based in the Southeast of England, but willing to travel when necessary.

A proven track record of longevity in previous site management roles is preferred.
